Kaitiaki in Māori means taking care of yourself. others and the environment. We have learnt about the importance of having a mindset in non-wasteful strategies that help the environment and making efforts to conserve or reuse materials.

It is wasteful to throw materials away that can be recycled and the tamariki have recreated projects that were fun to make.
