Strategic and Annual Implementation Plan & Targets 2024
In 2023 a full “Whanau Ako Day” gathered essential information and surveyed the aspirations of families for their children. These conclusions are stated in the 2024 - 2025 Strategic Plan and the goals.
All comments were collected by students and an analysis formed to determine which statements were the most important to whanau and students. Staff communicated their input.

Education Review Office (ERO) Report 2023
The role of the ERO review office is to work alongside the principal and school community, forming a relationship as “partners”, rather than the “one visit every three years”.
These opportunities give more depth to conversations, to tell our story while continuing to collect the information of governance and compliance such as student achievement.
Our target areas are to focus on “accelerating student achievement”, improving teaching practice and knowledge for literacy and mathematics.
To gain a relationship with Ngāti Raukawa and localised curriculum.
Cargill School MidYear EndYear Data 2024
Guidelines to reading the data.
There are two collections of data for Mathematics, Writing and Reading graphs.
Each topic has an explanation of achievement or the results of learning outcomes.
The first graph named “Cohort A” refers to the first intake of students earlier in the year and “Cohort B” information refers to those remaining and new students. Each graph tells what is being measured and how it was achieved in explanations. It will also explain what support is needed and how students received assistance by teachers and resources.
We are obligated to report and compare data with gender and ethnic groupings.
