Science Week Experiments 2024

The seniors in Te Ngahere class selected a variety of science experiments to lead and share with Nga Puawai. They planned their lessons and collected all the material they needed. Before starting with their peers, they shared their experiments with each other and explained their procedures and hypotheses. When they could give scientific explanations to each other, they were ready to show their expertees with Nga Puawai.

The experiments ranged from observing colours and changes in dye to condensation and breathing on window panes.

The rotations happened daily and reports were recorded or talked about. The tamariki enjoyed their learning week of science.
