Our Tamariki 2024

Te Ngahere Senior Class

Our tamariki in Te Ngahere class have been encouraged to be confident leaders and are expected to help their teina or younger peers. They have often asked to assist with science, technology projects and other tasks such as the use of chromebooks.

The class is based on inquiry and research subjects that require "deeper meaningful" investigations. One year long study has been the historical Waikato Wars. This study required all their core subjects to be utilised, literacy reading and writing, geography, maths (map reading), statistics with other skills such as waiata, composing music, haka, speaking and oral language.
